WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO YOU:

This does not mean, you can buy a home without any upfront money. The good news is, you can buy a home with very little upfront money.

You will need the following to start your home buying process from teh beginning of the transaction:

  • 1% of the purchase price. This is called earnest money. This ensures the seller you are serious about buying their home and asking them to take it off the market.
  • Appraisal money to the lender. This can range from $300-400, depending on the type of loan you choose. In most cases, this money is reimbursed to the buyer from the seller at closing.
  • Home Inspection. This is highly recommended, but not a requirement. A licensed inspector of your choice will check for many things in the new home you are buying. He/She will provide you with a written report. If any repairs are needed, we will notify the seller. The price range is $165-300.
